There are different types of eyelid surgeries available, each of which comes with a different price tag. Many people couple their blepharoplasty procedure with another surgery which can alter the cost.

What will affect the price of my surgery?

For some people having work done on the upper lids is enough, while others are satisfied with simply having their lower lids altered.	This procedure is usually done with local anesthesia and the use of a sedative administered intravenously.	Eyelid surgery can be done concurrently with a facelift, brow lift and other facial procedures.
If you require a full blepharoplasty which includes work done on all four lids, it will influence the price of your procedure.	If you require more anesthesia it will affect the price of your surgery.	The more surgeries you have can actually lower the price of your blepharoplasty since you will be getting a package.

What else do I need to know?

Blepharoplasty surgery can remove excess fat pads in the lower eyelid, correct drooping upper lids, reduce puffiness and make you appear more fresh faced. This procedure can also reduce vision problems caused by sagging eyelids.

It is important to have a friend or loved one pick you up after your procedure because you will not be able to drive. You may experience blurred or double vision and extreme itching; however, these symptoms will fade in the days following your surgery. You will probably be able to resume your normal activities within 10 days.
